Community development is a process where community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems.
The major causes of poverty include low economic growth, a weak agricultural sector, increased population rates and a high volume of inequality. Over the past decades, many national governments have used community development programs as a way to combat poverty and reduce inequality.
South Asia Collective’s community development programs seek to improve the quality of life and economic well-being in remote and vulnerable groups by achieving measurable reductions in poverty. Our programs support local economic development and include the essential elements of community participation, collaboration, capacity building, and empowerment.
Our community development programs provide a platform for giving an answer to everyone who asks us to give the reason for the Hope that we have, with gentleness and respect.
